Being transparent, this story is an MLP fanfic that started out as a pet project of mine, but I finished it a few days ago, and I felt it's finally time I share it. Sure, it starts out with typical "OC meets canon character" stuff, but it gets good, I swear! Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge. All non-original characters, locations and concepts (eg, Fluttershy, Equestria, Elements of Harmony) belong to Hasbro.

The owner of a small apartment building in Ponyville finds a devastating unicorn at his doorstep, he takes a step in kindness he did not even know was there. He does not expect to find a friend in this mare but in the end? He finds so much more. This romance tells the tale of two ponies who find themselves with nothing but each other, secrets, and the secrets of an elite society dragging ponies into lives they never expected for themselves. Can these two jaded and hopeless ponies find true love in each other? Or are they meant to fall to the society that was built to topple them?

One day, he found a pony who needed help in the middle of the streets. He helped and twilight offered to be friends. He accepted her friend request and later in the story, he falls in love with her. They both get each other's phone numbers. Twilight really wanted Mordecai to come over for three days, so he did. During this hangout, Twilight discovers she might be in love with Mordecai. The beer got to her and that's how she might've noticed, she denies it, though. Things get awkward, with all the friend-zoning. Everyone thinks they're a couple. Mordecai just out of a relationship.
