Felvan Rein has a superpower: she can see the last thirty seconds of someone's life before they take their life. Her power gives her forty minutes to rescue the individual and if she can't do it, she fails one more life.
Felvan doesn't necessarily have an amazing life, her father died when she was eight which resulted in the development of her powers. Her mother's health is debilitating everyday. Her sister, Clementine doesn't understand a seed of responsibility and loves to blame others. The twins are just a mess. Felvan has absolutely no time for herself; being the sole breadwinner of the family makes sure she has enough weights to lift.
But everything changes once she saves Marcus Doubledown, he clings to her like sticky toffee to your teeth.
