The Trail of Tears

This poem I wrote is inspired by a historical event called the trail of tears. It was when Native American had their lands taken from them and forced to move somewhere new. The walk to their new lands was called the trail of tears. It was named this because of all the hardships faced on their journey. I encourage you to learn more about the event.
