Florence King just wanted a normal summer break. One away from her brothers and one which involved sleeping at random points in the day. But that doesn't go to plan when she is forced to accompany her brothers and their friends on a trip to the outer banks in North Carolina.

Things seem normal for the most part until Florence witnesses something she doesn't want to and is sent into a whirlwind of stories and lies. It's hard to keep up and now with threats being thrown her way will she and everyone else be able to make it out alive by the end of the summer? 

This is the tragic story of the outsiders.
