"A queen needs a king in order to rule, your majesty." The priest declared in front of all, desperately wanting for me to "understand". Yet he still managed to fail, and subsequently forgot the most important thing about me.

I smirked, "Well not this queen."

Princess Geovani lead on a simple life under her fathers care. She was spoiled with riches and jewelry; with King Sebastian, her father, at her beck and call. Her life was simple, but they say that about every royal. What goes on inside the castle walls stays in the castle walls; especially declarations that are at severe risk of damaging the kingdom.

"We need this marriage! It will save our people from dying!" They bellowed.

But will their protest against her denial change Geovani's decision? Will the upcoming affair be crushed, or will Geovani love who she was so against?
