48 Partes Concluida In the kingdom of Qiangda, the people live a harmonious life. The imperial family bears the mark of the phoenix, a blessing from the heavens and one that guides its earthly representatives. But like all things Yin and Yang, this blessing comes with a curse. At the start of every King's life, a flower object appears, indestructible and deadly. It contains an otherworldly poison that bypasses even the protection of the phoenix mark. And so it has been the imperial family's most guarded secret.
The current king, Jiang Zhilan is an idol of the people. His energetic, fair personality paired with wits and good looks has earned him the affections of many. Although he is young, his strategies have greatly helped push back the neighbouring kingdom of Gongzhuan.
Meanwhile, in Gongzhuan, the ruling monarch is tired of his advances being effortlessly pushed away just because Qiangda has the protection of the heavens. His confidante and leader of an assassin organization, Mo Wu, knows of a legend. One that is now more of a children's story than a folktale. But to him, it is a chink in Qiangda's armour. He sends his prodigy disciple, Liu Qingyuan to Qiangda to chase the scraps of a century old legend, and a hope to end the line of phoenix rulers.
