16-year-old Jacklyn's previously basic life turns upside down when she one morning wakes up as a vampire, finding out she has to save the world from a bunch of uncoordinated magic hunters, with the help of a cliché hot secretive boy, an arrogant non-binary wolf, and her morally grey best friend. Their heroic journey leads them to a secret island with fantastic animals and a tax fraud-committing lumberjack, and soon they realise that their story isn't as easy-going as it sounds at first.
