Things had been tense between Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian for a long time because of Wei Wuxian moving away and Jiang Cheng feeling like he had been abandoned.
Jin Ling goes on a study trip with his friends, asking Jiang Cheng to pet sit his new dog, Fairy. He is more than surprised when he comes back and finds an unexpected pet sitter in his apartment instead. But perhaps this could be the perfect opportunity to have his uncles to finally talk to each other? After all, it is clear that they both still care about their brother.
