Mordecai is broke

As broke as a boy can be, but he's not in poverty, he's only broke because of his bad financial decisions, like coming into Vegas and lavishly spending all of his saving into gambling. He had won a couple times, but the high amount accumulated by his losses cannot even compare to Mount Everest -simply put, Mordecai is now a dead man, spiritually and mentally, he has now been stripped of his humanity

It's funny, Mordecai always expected his best friend, Rigby, to end up like this, he can't help but feel like a big fat failure. He had always prided himself on being the 'responsible one' but now he can only look at himself with such disappointment -it seems that his low self-esteem was the only thing high about him now

But how did he get to this point anyway? Because of one person, one name
