What inspired you to write One Promise? You see, when I was young, life was tough. I grew up with a broken family. I never felt the love I wanted all my life. I've always love reading. That's when I found my new comfort through writing. Then I held on to it because it gave me hope. It gave me another way to ease my broken self cause I needed to. Just when I thought I already hit rock bottom with all these pain I felt ever since I was a kid, God must've still felt the need to push me more by leaving me with a monstrous dad but I saw how God changes him. So I wrote this story for my dad.

In a small town lived a woman named Althea, whose life seemed cursed by fate. She wasn't born poor, but because she was an illegitimate child, her own family cast her out. Alone and abandoned, she worked tirelessly-selling goods, washing clothes, tending gardens-anything to survive. By the age of 30, she achieved something no one ever expected: she inherited a vast hacienda from her late grandmother, a place filled with blooming flowers and thriving plants she nurtured with her own hands. There, she built a quaint flower shop, finally finding the peace she had long been searching for. But one tragic accident changed everything-she awoke in another life, in a world unlike her own, a realm of magic and mystical beings. Once again, Althea was born into a family tainted by betrayal, the illegitimate daughter of a powerful nobleman. Her appearance made her stand out even more: snow-white hair that shimmered under the sunlight, skin pale as porcelain, and crimson eyes that burned like embers. Her thin lips and delicate features made her seem fragile, yet within her lay the unshakable spirit of a woman who had already endured life's cruelties. In this realm where strength and magic define worth, how will Althea carve a place for herself? Will she remain a stain in a world that looks down on her, or rise to become something far greater than they ever imagined?
