Silence filled the air around them as Clara thought about it, wiping her black hair from her face. One day, she's on the way to her friends house, passing the local venue where they happen to be performing that evening to a sold out crowd. She doesn't have a ticket as they sold out fairly quickly, but she wants to see the tour bus anyway, and hopefully see a band member lurking around outside. To her amazement, she bumps into the lead singer, Matthew Healy as he's having a cigarette around the back of the venue. Fuck. That grey puff of smoke follows him everywhere. The scent of cigarettes sticks everywhere, and it always reminds me of him. But it's not him. I haven't seen him in six years, but a simple puff of smoke on the London streets takes me back to that gas station all those years ago. Ski Masks. Cigarettes. Me. Matty. It all feels like yesterday.
