When the twins continued on with their journey, a guardian was bestowed upon them by an unknown entity. It would seem that this unknown entity favored the twins so much that it would gift them such a blessing.
And when the unknown goddess fought against the twins, and when the two was put in a tight spot, they both called for their guardian. But she never came, devastated by that fact, they were both caught off guard and was defeated.
Unbeknownst to them, their guardian wanted to fight alongside them, but with the unknown goddess stopping the guardian from doing so, for the unknown goddess was far more powerful than the guardian. The guardian felt so useless, so miserable, they sealed themselves away. Not wanting to face the truth.
And with the unknown entity unsatisfied with this outcome, it decided to lift the seal and gave the guardian a new opportunity. What would the guardian do?

-on hiatus my inspiration has be all time low will put as complete for now- Aether and Lumine are traveling twins who have been to many worlds from many different time eras, upon one of their journeys together they are separated by an unknown god in the continent of Teyvat. Now Aether must travel the continent of Teyvat with his trusty friend Paimon to save his sister. A story that was I thought could be a dlcl for the game lol that introduces the ninth or possibly tenth god of Teyvat that much like the traveler comes from another world, but is here to stay here to change the wheels of destiny. Aether decides to live with no regrets and starts dating along with assisting this new god so he can use their power to return Venti's gnosis and defeat the abyss order. To what changing winds will this foreign god bring and what adventures await our heroes (This was also made before the teapot was invented in game lol.
