Elena Hartmann is a Captain of one of the Elite squads in the Scout Regiment. No one but a few knows her background, and she'd like to keep it that way. The Scouts only know that she is an intelligent mix of supersoldier DNA and a bad past. Graduating the cadet corps a year early at the age of 20, and at the top of her class, Elena made it a point to work as hard as she was physically able in order to erradicate the titans for destroying her life. 
There is a competitive spirit between her and the other supersoldier scout, Levi Ackerman. They push each other to the limit and far beyond, forcing themselves to grow and increase the gap between them and the other scouts in skill. But is there something more between them?
