Amara Williams escapes Umbrella's laboratory and heads into Racoon City which has been overrun by infected people. She tries to take shelter in the police department where she encounters Leon Kennedy, a rookie cop whose first day turned into a nightmare. 

The two stick together fighting the infected people trying to get out of the city, along with taking down Umbrella. After their escape, they are taken on as Agents where they are sent on many missions fighting different Tyrants, enemies and zombies. Along the way, they find themselves falling for each other, facing death almost daily they need to learn to take every chance they get.
