It is the Paris Peace Conference where the Entente figure out what to do with the Central Powers and the aftermath. It's also a place for new nations to make themselves known.
The Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes--more commonly known as Yugoslavia--has already come to this conference with a plan for a Pan-Slavic union. With Czechoslovakia, he proposes an alliance of land and resources, and now they consummate their agreement..

But for now, you'll be following the story of everyone's favorite North American, Canada. After his father made some horrible mistakes while he was a child it puts a wedge in the family that only those two know about. But as he grows older the effects of The Asylum (a place of suffering for Countryhumans after death) take a toll on how he treats others. And after countries get revived from the Asylum by a mysterious cure the majority of the time they gain a physical feature such as wings, or maybe another animal characteristic. On rare cases, there can be magical abilities gained that outweigh any sort of supernatural physicality. But Canada wasn't too lucky, and just got a pair of large wings. To hide the past from other countries, Britain does everything he can to keep the knowledge of them away from everyone, even if it causes loads of pain on his son's body. In this story each countryhuman has a stone with their flag on it. It's one of the most precious things to them because of their stone get damaged or put in the wrong hands bad things can happen. If another country gets a hold of it, the countryhuman that the stone originally belonged to gets chainlocked. Meaning that the country who got their stone has complete control of them, and to show it physically a thick metal bracelet is placed around one of their wrists. ⚠️Also no warnings on ships, so be prepared for anything. TROIKA - Countryhumans USSR x America
The world is electrified. Everything runs on electricity, from lighting to transport, life support to social media. Oblivion. Then, grid is down. And the world turns dark. And doesn't turn back on. America, the most forward thinking and innovative Western idealist, has answers. Her feminist values push her neck to neck with her male peers. She is one of the first to figure out that the grid will eventually fail, because of the vein of fossil fuel instability, trying to raise the alarm. When the grid does fail, she doesn't even get the satisfaction to say 'I told you so' before she is forced to collaborate in the TROIKA - a trio of biologist, engineer, and geophysicist that must find an immediate and then long-term solution to power the earth. Oh, and she has no choice. USSR, a cynic planner and injured war veteran, has questions. Torn between his eastern roots and western intelligence, he struggles to fit in, curb his aggression, and deal with personal loss. Instead of notifying the world of the impending grid failure, he builds a vast arsenal nuclear plants to power his land against the rules, and when the grid falls, his lights and machines keep running. When finally his arrest occurs, he finds himself in a unique situation, offered a position in the TROIKA - but if he declines, then a life of darkness behind bars awaits him. The goal of the TROIKA is simple: Be quick, be correct, be ready. It doesn't take long for USSR and America to loathe each other on principle, each with their own goals and ideals, clashing on everything from fashion to economics. Can they push away their pride and save the world, maybe even themselves? Or will their bitterness engulf everyone in thick, oily darkness forever? A single choice will ultimately decide their fate. The Koreas were victims of Japanese Imperialism for thirty-six years, deprived of freedom in their own country. With the defeat of the Japanese Empire after the second World War, you would think that their problems would be solved. But things rarely go so smoothly, and now five years later, war has broken out once more on the Korean Peninsula. North Korea and his provinces must fight once more for their freedom and to defend their home from Imperialist Aggression. After all, the pursuit of Liberty is never-ending. Britan, or better known as United Kingdom. As funny the memes are about the colonisation for spices (then refusses to use them); he's a person who'd rather forget his history- more like his family's history-, however being the head of the country that colonised more than one third of the world isn't exactly an easy sin to clean. But hey: the 21's century and the UN says it's going to be peace and love all though out. Not like there is two on-going war and one-to-many civil wars! The only thing he's holding onto his his family, a lesbian best friend and a sunflower. Very healthy coping may I add *sarcastic*. Now there is one thing I forgot to mention: Everyone has powers as Countryhumans. When one of them has the powers to talk and let anyone see the dead, with them using their power is now unearthed problems are headed to Britain. Might as well solve some things before guilt buits up any further.
