humans are an interesting breed nothing empowers us more than greed but emotions are what dissociate us from animals, our greatest weakness, and our greatest strength but what are we but hopeless romantics looking for love or a purpose to feel less lonely in the world? your tears wash away with the memories you hold we toss our pain behind us in the very bag that drags us down to the depths of the bottomless pit inside our souls to trust in this lifetime is a stab in the back no one will keep the secrets they swear to take to their grave your past and your memories will be used as a weapon but you are safe within the poetry you read, aren't you? don't worry, words scribbled on a digital page can't hurt you unless you have experiences to tie within the lines of the sentences your very eyes carefully analyze with the very letters before you disappear into the world of my rhymes my love no one will hurt you here.
