Born with a ship's deck beneath his feet and a cutlass in hand, High Captain Kade Petrovick can steal a girl's heart just as easily as he could seize a ship. Too bad for Atlantis he's more into disproving their myths and curses than he is being 'The Brovern incarnate'. Descended from Drake Broven, the brazen pirate who not only stole the Kraken's Heart from Davy Jones but the man's wife as well. Like the rest of the Brovern line, Kade is cursed with wanderlust and the desire for riches.  A thirst for adventure courses through his veins and tends to leave him often not onshore or in a lasses bed for long.  Girls might love him, but none will ever claim his heart, save the sea, thanks to the curse Davy Jones placed upon his ancestor.
