Lydia is trying to start over. Again. But this time she swears that it's different. Fresh off of a rehabilitation center, she has about two months until she turns eighteen and ages out of the foster system. Lydia is used to no one wanting her, so she made a vow to herself, that no matter what else life throws her way, she will always love herself and strive to put herself first. Lydia is placed in a foster house where all the unadoptable kids are placed. Everyone knows it's the last stop on the road for hope, but Lydia refuses to let that drag down her mood. And besides, the house isn't all that bad compared to the other houses she's been in. But when a couple comes to the house that Lydia mistakes for investors, will she finally get the chance she needs to strive? Or will the reason the couple had decided to adopt her make her feel worthless?

(Okay, I know that this has been writing so many times over, but this is my version.) Addi is 14, an orphan and her only role models are Dan and Phil. She has a habit of self-harming. And a voice that makes her do things she doesn't want to do. Then she is adopted by her role models, and her life seems perfect, she's even made some friends. But it all turns dark when her friends have dark secrets of their own and Addi's voice returns. Can she get through this, or is it all coming to a drastic end? I also just want to say that this is the first story I ever completed and at the time it was hard and I was proud of my efforts, but now I hate it and cringe just thinking about it. I hadn't had a plan when writing and just went as I wished to. I won't unpublished this as a basic point to see how far I've come when writing other works, but this isn't something I've continued to be proud of. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs.
