When Jeremiah Keane, a preacher living in Yonkers NY is revealed to be a charlatan. His wife removes herself from his abusive home in dramatic fashion, taking her daughter with her. The sequence of five short stories, focuses on key snippets in the lives of these individuals. It follows a span of 30 years, as they transition and cope with all the issues that tend to befall broken families.  Tragedy  begets tragedy; until someone ends it all. Survival can get bloody.
