May 1st, 1181: After she discovers the fresh corpses of three imperial paladins, young lone mercenary Sarai Eisner, 21, is then seized by Hubert, also 21, when he warps onto the scene and sees her right next to the corpses, after which he then hands her straight over to Empress Edelgard, 18, who has her imprisoned in one of Palace Hresvelg's tall towers to receive her trial and sentencing later that day. The day after she is falsely accused of killing the dead paladins and sentenced to death by the empress, Sarai is rescued from the imperial capital by the newly crowned kingdom monarch King Dimitri, also 18, during a country wide raid to rescue any kingdom citizens and other innocent people from imperial territories safely. From there, he takes her with him back to the kingdom, where she introduces herself and meets Dimitri, his parents and all of his friends in return.All Rights Reserved

She gained a family member, but lost two. She aches to find out why she can never return home again.
