Captain Y/N was a fire bender in the Fire Nation's army, well acquainted with the royal family. She had not seen Prince Zuko since his banishment but their paths cross when the fire prince is searching for the avatar in the Earth Kingdom colonies.
With the war at it's peak, can either of them find it in them to go against everything they've ever known?

I've read quite a few fanfic stories out there and this one isn't very good in comparison, but I'll post it for others who might find it entertaining--it was certainly entertaining to write. Also, I understand a lot of readers don't like stories that follow canon. This one does follow the show for the most part, but eventually digresses, follows, and digresses again.
