Dear Readers, Knapford is once again in a pickle as its station pilot Duck now runs his own branch line. This leaves the station once again, not having a pilot. Sir Charles Topham II is in search of a bigger and more modern engine to become the new station pilot. After some time of searching, he purchased a big tank engine from British Railway named Arthur. Arthur is a unique engine as he has a spotless record, but will he manage to keep his record up float when he arrives on the Island of Sodor? Let's find out, shall we? The Railway ~ Rewrite: "First Series"
"I arrived from Brighton to the North Western Railway, even though I didn't mean to. I was bored of just shunting coaches for the big engines in the station, and I yearned to see the world. But then, a black engine was pushed by the trucks into a field. I rescued him with the breakdown train, and Sir Topham Hatt awarded me with my own special coaches and my own branch line! Now I can work by myself and see the other engines pass by. They can shunt their coaches themself for all I care." (You'd be surprised at how big the fandom is) After the crap that was the HiT era, which was what inspired me to do this in the first, the Sharon Miller era, the Big World Big Adventures era, and the cartoon crap that the Reverend Wilbert Awdry was against that's coming up this fall, I've decided to take it upon myself to rewrite everything Thomas in a more detailed literary format. I aim to fix everything in S8-16 and S22-24, and what's coming next. I wanna make this a movie sometime too. ~The Railway Series is owned by Wilbert and Christopher Awdry. ~Thomas & Friends is owned by Britt Allcroft and David Mitton. The Island of Sodor: The New Stories.
The world of Sodor is a treasure trove of story opportunities. Whether it's the books or the show, the Thomas universe is never short on stories to be told. There is already plenty of fan content for Thomas and Friends. Most content tries to keep the lore of the Railway Series and sprinkle concepts from the TV series into the mix. I am no different, but I tried to make my take on this universe unique. This is something that has been in the works for the past few years. It has taken plenty of refinement, revision and lots of research. At long last, I've written something to be proud of.Terminé
