In this story, Spirit, an eighteen year old girl has been waiting most of her life to see her friend, but when she waits for him to arrive, he doesn't, so she tries to get some answers. When she doesn't get what she wants to hear she's determined to find out what happened. In the process she heard some strange "rumors" about the government, which make her curious. But as her mother always said, "curiosity can lead to trouble" and that's exactly what Spirit stumbles across.
Okay so this is my first time writing a story and posting a story here. I had a lot of fun writing it and discussing it with my friends. But if you see any mistakes, please tell me and also please tell me if its good. Thanks - author

Left for Dead (book 1 in the Super Nova series)
So this is a story I wrote about a girl named Nova. She lives in a world where everyone has a supernatural power. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine. Outside the walls
War had just broke out between the states of America. Two states remained. Yet only one wins. One state had won by peace and one state had won by destruction. The day of the fight, the state of distinction launched a nuke. Yet they had under estimated the power the nuke had. It destroyed both states and it had seemed that no one remained. 3 years latter and a little city had grown out of the destruction. Emma was a resident of that city. Emma had a different childhood than most. "Go fetch the food!" or "Go get the water!" Were the most of chores she had to do. It was grow up fast or die in her city! On Emma's 17 birthday she would be old enough to go out side of the city walls and look for communication to other parts of the world. They had found a part of a cell tower that would finish off there hand made cell tower and needed a search crew to go get it and bring it back. Emma now being old enough she tried out. She had never been outside the city walls. We're most of the adventures have already gone once or twice. Most people have said that they should not send the youngest age, and they just might be right... because Emotions, Guys, and family are all in her way.Complete
