Baji grabbed Chifuyu's right hand with his palm perpendicular to his and wrapped his fingers around the back of my hand. "This way is easy to break apart, but this way..." Baji said as he rotated his palm parallel to Chifuyu's and interlocked their fingers. 

Chifuyu's heart began racing as soon as he started to hold Baji's hand. He knows Baji was just doing this to make him feel better, but It seemed like he didn't want this demonstration to end. 

"W-What's the difference?"

"This way is stronger, more committed. When we hold hands like this, most people can't break us up unless we let them. As long as we hold hands like this, we're inseparable," Baji said this with meaning that went far beyond teaching. He punctuated his point by rubbing his thumb in a circle on the back of Chifuyu's hand. Baji stepped closer and lowered his head. Chifuyu stepped closer and looked up at Baji...
