While running from the police in a certain tennis related murder, Ryoma finds himself in the middle of a large forest. It is there that he meets Gonta, living in a small house.
Because Ryoma gets injured he stays there and the two grow closer. However the looming threat of secrets being revealed and Ryoma getting captured hangs over their heads. They slowly gain trust in one another and learn that they can rely on each other and find joy once again.
