The wind sweeps around my battered and broken body, and the scattered leaves dance at my weary feet. Giving in, I lean back on the tree and fall down into a pit of cold and empty darkness-the once misleading and sly voices have ceased. The ground has finally swallowed me up. My resistance is wasted; my life is fading into a gloomy eternity of loneliness.
