Katsuki Bakugo has never backed down from a challenge in his life. Every time an older kid tried to pick on him, every time someone told him he couldn't do something... every time Deku said he'd be number one; he put them in their place, showed them who was boss. The more impossible it seemed, the better.

"Stupid Deku, why are you still following Bakugo around?" one of Katsuki's cronies sneered, looming over Izuku's small frame. "Not even Bakugo could help a quirkless loser like you become a hero, even if he wanted to!"

Bakugo straightened, eyes blazing as he sensed the challenge of a lifetime. A quirkless hero was about as impossible as you could get. "You think I couldn't turn him into a hero?" he scoffed. "Aight, bet."
