There's a face that stares back, and it has eyes as dark as night. It has a stare as sharp as a knife, and there's something I know of it.
It's my face, on another person, that stares back at me, with a desire to spill blood.
.....................................
Reza Kelson and Dane Rochelle are living happily together, when a very familiar stranger appears. A clone of Reza, made by the government from blood that Reza gave.
But the story is not of Reza and Dane. It is of Pike, and the stranger, who they name as Neza, as "not Reza." Pike who was saved by Reza years prior, has had a burning desire that has always been in his chest as he came to know Reza. But when Reza turned away for somebody else, Pike accepted it and moved on to be alone.
Now, somebody else appears. Somebody familiar, but not at all known. And that draws Pike in, for a chance at love.
