A Kingdom is always known to have a King and a Queen, together ruling. Its people acts as the mirror of the actions of their majesties. If the majesties rule the Kingdom with love, no treachery, no any sort of bad doings, and with respect most importantly, its people will return the same things they've done for them, so much more.

A Kingdom with both a King and Queen is already considered as a powerful Kingdom around the world. Especially when an heir or even an heiress is on the line to take the throne next.

But,

A Kingdom without a ruler beside another ruler is told by their ancestors, as a curse. A Kingdom without a Queen beside its King is a curse. 

A curse that doesn't chooses its target properly. A curse that chooses its target recklessly. A curse that doesn't care and has no mercy on it. 

A curse that makes everyone suffer until their very last breath. A curse... that will make a Kingdom fall apart. A very powerful curse that everyone fears of as it has no any mercy, even a slight. 

A Kingdom without neither a King nor a Queen, will crumble and fall into its own ruins.
