Mal, a 16-year-old actress, is back in the US after filming a movie with her best friend, Bryce. As they sit down and talk with their friends, they find out that one of their friends, Dash Melrose, went missing.

They then promise themselves to find out what happened to Dash, not caring whether he was alive or dead at that time.

The group is then met by secrets and trouble, trying to stop them from finding out the real secret behind all of that.
