Hot and dry. The 1800s were a hard time. With the war on the outer province. The Humans had the upper handnover the Werewolves and humans however a strategic attack had changed that taking out most of the human troops and pushing them back against their border cornering them 

They needed new soldiers. Men they knew could lead in this world. So they went to the Sorento farms taking four of Annie and Jeremiah Sorentos five sons to join the war. 

That is when Wisdoms world came crashing down. Her world was so much harder without her brothers. It just continued to get worse and worse with time.

Even the more serious parts will have some comedic input from her and she can tend to be a bit abrasive or offensive. This is, after all, an anti-hero's point of view. This book contains characters of different ethnic backgrounds, races, and sexual orientations. A few will have mental and/or social disorders. So, keep an open mind.
