Rowen Cole can't help who she's related to, it's not the kind of thing you can pick. Her brother is a former high school bully and the king of creating rumours that all but destroyed Nicolas Castro's life, one rumour at a time. Her father is a cheater, he's been having affairs for years, and Rowen only found out, her mother is sick and her aunt is in jail. Even with having all these problems in her family, the whole town thinks the Cole's are perfect. It's all just a show that her doctor father likes to put up.

Nicolas Castro hates everyone, everyone but his family. His father died before he even started high school, and he only had his mother left, his twin sister, older brother and Niece were his friends. He owned a gym with his brother and did everything in his power to ignore the Cole's, as far as he knew, they were all the same. Lying pieces of shits that like to sit up on their pedestals with golden crowns and their goal in life is to ruin his own.

Rowen doesn't understand why the sexy Mexican boxer hates her so much, but she's fed up with it.

"Look, I don't know why you hate me so much, Alright? But could you be professional for one second of your life and just teach me?!" Rowen yelled, ripping the boxing gloves off of her hands and throwing them at Nico.
     Nico stared at her blankly.
"Great, Fine, I'll leave, have a nice life asshole" she turned on her heal and headed for the door.
"I don't hate you" Nico said quietly, stopping Rowen in her tracks.
"What?" She turned.
"I don't hate you, I hate how much you drive me crazy" he repeated and Rowen's heart sped up, she backed toward the door.
"What are you saying?" Her voice shook.
"I'm saying that I really want to kiss you"

The world has chewed up and spit out Eleanor Robinson again and again. It began with her parents, one taken by a tragedy, one addicted to horrific drugs, and a brother who's too boozed out to know if she's alive or dead. Alone in the world, Ellie isn't exactly sure of how life works, of how anything works, really. The only two people she has that even remotely understand are Sebastian and Scarlett, a pair of siblings that remind her so much of her own family, it's hard to be around them sometimes. When the trio finally move in together after being friends for almost three years, they end up closer than ever. But the move brings along another problem into Ellie's life. Cole Everett is a fighter. From the moment he was cast aside by his family, he's had to fight for scraps at the orphanage dinner table, fight for a spot in the light of his foster family's eyes, and fight for the love of his adoptive parents. It seemed like he never won when it came to personal battles, but in the ring... In the ring, he owned the world. Years and years of the world kicking Cole's ass has shaped him into the fighter Ellie and everyone else sees him as. But the world has also shaped Ellie, and the sweet, heavy-hearted girl paints on a façade that seems only Cole can break through. As the pair attempt to navigate a decent enough relationship to be in the same room as one another without going for the throat, the people around them float between blurred lines of friend or foe. Hearts clash, past enemies arise, and the pair's hearts hang in the balance of it all.

{𝑩𝒐𝒐𝒌 1} 𝒁𝒊𝒏𝒂 𝑻𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒔 Is the girl no one really noticed. She hides her face- with all the horrid bruises present- behind a facade, and makes sure no one suspects a single thing about the hell she's met with at her home with her 'parents'. Sure, when she gets in trouble or someone picks on her, she can defend herself perfectly fine with the way she does illegal fights and wins time after time. But it's when she's utterly alone, and locked up in her personal hell that she doesn't dare to speak up or say a thing. It's when the voices get through her that she cowers away in the shadows and doesn't dare to come out. Not even when her own life is in danger does she uses everything she's learned from that special boy with the mesmerizing smile and the kind reassuring eyes. Zina lives in her own shadows and deals with her own demons, but what happens when a random boy on a random day, decides to show more interest in her than anyone ever did? What if he tells her something that'll change her whole life? And what happens if that particular boy claims to be related to her? And is blood really thicker than water? Can her 5 caring brothers pull her out of her own shadows and free her from the voices calling her back? Or will she give in and be a danger to everyone around her? ---- "Don't break her heart." I suddenly hear Lucas speak up next to me. "How did you know?" I ask him. "The eyes. Everything you feel for her is displayed in your eyes." He answers me and I nod slowly. "I won't." I say quietly to him. "You won't what?" He says, wrinkling his brows in confusion. "Break her heart." I finish saying. I see him nod from the corner of my eyes, contemplating on what to say next. "Good." ---- No incest, nor cheating in this book!
