JULIE AND THE PHANTOMS FANFICTION
PREQUEL TO "BRIGHT"
CARRIE'S STORY

Eveyone smiles and waves at me as I pass by them in the hallway like they know me. Sure, they know my name. They know my reputation. They know me as the girl whose rich dad gives her everything. They don't know the real me. The real me goes unknown. --Carrie W.

Eveyone knows the girl with star struck talent and the girl with a famous dad used to be best friends, but their friendship fell apart after Julie did something at a seventh grade talent show that Carrie just can't forgive.

All her friends tell her to let it go. Her boyfriend tells her to move on. Her dad doesn't even pay enough attention to her to realize something happened in the first place.

The only one who truly understands Carrie, is her cousin Meridith, but Meridth is going off to collage soon and won't always be there for Carrie.

Can Carrie open up to her friends, or will her true self continue to go unknown?

*I do not own Julie and the phatoms or the charecters besides Meridth and Katie.

You may want to read Bright first, it's my other fanfiction. If you read it you'll just know what happened in seventh grade because it mentions it but it'll mention it here too so I guess you really don't have to read Bright first. You can just do whatever you want to do.

This is set pre Julie and the Phatoms but not too far back.
Hope you enjoy :)

Of all the books I've read, so far this is my favorite. Highly Recommended!!! - Ellie_Mad1son **** "You really don't like me, huh?" I crossed my arms when I finally saw him on the threshold. "I don't have to like you. I need your money to pay the bills and that's it. For all I care, we can be perfect strangers." He laughed. "So much hatred coming from a shy nerd ..." "So much smugness coming from a boy whose living arrangement is in my hands ..." Lukas raised his hands in mock surrender. "Touché." He laughed. "Man, are you feisty ..." "Maybe I'm in a bad mood." "My fault?" I arched an eyebrow at him. "You tell me, you're the one that basically broke into my house." "Hey, I knocked. You didn't hear me." "That's when you wait, and knock again, Sherlock." I scoffed. Lukas smirked smugly, his eyes once again raking over my full frame. "Didn't know I'd find you naked, sweetheart. In that case I wouldn't have even knocked ..." 🔥🔥🔥 You can review Roommates with Benefits on Goodreads!

Julie Page wasn't dumb. At least, not Before. In the Before, Julie was the one who kept the books for her family business, the one with good grades, the one with smart, overachieving friends. She was not the girl who fell prey to a multi-level marketing scheme, that was for sure. At least, not Before. But now, in the summer following high school graduation, Julie was living in the After. After her mother died. After she got dumped by Bryce the Great. After she locked eyes with Sheridan Highgate, the popular girl with a matching workout set and six jobs and nothing but joy in her empty, bright eyes. The girl swimming in the cotton candy pool of her ever-present water bottle. The girl Julie would never, ever be caught dead with. At least, not Before. When Sheridan takes Julie under her wing in the weirdest, saddest summer of her life, the world around her opens in a new way. A way that leads to parties filled with skinny girls with colorful "health" drinks, skeevy sales tactics, and a surprising darkness that forces Julie to face the deepest, most untouched parts of herself. In this darkly comedic young adult novel, Julie finds herself under the spell of the beautiful people -- the Diamond Girls -- and enchanted by the shattering of broken glass that makes up their mosaic. As she falls deeper into the chaotic and enigmatic world of "Diamondesq," a brand of questionable health drinks and their various accoutrements, Julie learns that no one is who they seem to be -- not Sheridan, not Bryce the Great, not her mother. Not even herself. [60K Words / Completed ]

Her sister decides she wants to enrol in a public school, something she has never done before, to know what it's like to be a normal high school student. What she doesn't know is that Elena has spent the last two years of her life hiding her worst fear from her family. She has secrets no one knows about, secrets she's been hiding to keep those around her safe. However, what Elena least expects is for her two worlds to collide all because of two boys she meets at school. * * * Elena headed towards the door. She was about to turn the doorknob when his next words froze her in place. "How do you think you'll sister will react if she finds out what you do?" asked Lucas. She slowly turned to face the two with a raised brow, "Meaning?" "Think about it," urged Cole, "How do you think everyone would react if they found out what you do during your spare time, especially your sister." She narrowed her eyes ."Are you blackmailing me?" she asked crossing her arms and raising her chin. "No, I never said that." Cole held up his hands yet grinning mischievously. "We're just saying that it would be in your best interest, along with ours if you joined us." shrugged Lucas. "You can't prove anything," she bluffed. A devious smile speared across Cole's face while Lucas grinned wickedly, "Oh, we both know you don't believe that." ------------------- The events and places are completely fictional along with the characters. 22 parts Complete

Part 1: When Carrie arrived in Brooklyn she knew she had to do it, she had to change her attitude and fashion sense, that was until her mom ruined it by telling her she is going to a private school of all girls and not Co-ed. And by going to private school is where she had to wear a uniform. By the time she tried making friends with the popular girls to fit in like she did at home, she got denied and rejected due to being unstylish and not being what the girls call being gossipy. She was sent to a table where three girls sat,The Burris Twins being Ethel and Elle, and Shayna Fitzgerald who's older sister was in the popular group. And the only other two down sides of going to the all girl school is there was no music program, and Carrie couldn't stand to live by that rule. But the major downside which was a somewhat good and bad thing was being able to see a past rejectionist, that being Eden Hallows, a student who was the cause of the no music program in the school. Has Carrie completely changed? Will she find out what happened to Eden? Will Jayden ever visit? What happens back in Hollywood with Julie & The Phantoms and Flynn? Stay tuned...
