Dan doesn't feel complete with his life. Sure, he has amazing fans, a great best friend, a home in London, but something still feels empty. He enjoys his life, but has no effort. However, this all changes when Dan bumps into a red-haired geek on the streets of London. Alice.

Alice is a girl finishing up her third year in University. She has a love for games, animals, photography, and sometimes drawing. She may seem like the perfect girl, but she has flaws. At least, that's what she sees. Alice has had high levels of depression and anxiety for many years, being abused by her parents and being betrayed by many. So, she tends to have trust issues that Dan must break down.

Dan's best friend and roommate, Phil, sees that Dan is troubling over the girl, so he tends to make fun. Dan doesn't like it because he knows Phil won't shut up about him liking Alice. He clearly doesn't! They are just friends...!
