This book will cover the like of Peeta Mellark, and Katniss Everdeen. This book starts during the bloodbath of the 74th Hunger games and will end with the exploration of the events in the epilogue!
The chapters at the beginning will be very similar to the books, but I promise I already have a lot of twists and turns planned, or already written out especially during the events of Catching Fire and Mockingjay! I hope you enjoy this story, It's going to be a long one!

This story is Gale's, his outlook on the games, his feelings about his best friend's situation, and his interactions with the people of District 12. The story is set during the time period of "The Hunger Games" (book one of the trilogy). It is written from the perspective of Gale Hawthorne, and does not concern any events in books two and three. This is my first fan fiction, my first "real" attempt at long form prose writing, and my first Wattpad story. I appreciate constructive feedback, but please, no hate. While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination.
