"Every year, when the snow comes, I know something will change my life." Sophia Thatcher was a young girl surrounded by the best people, except her mother who was cruel and selfish about anything that concerned her happiness. However, her mother's lack of affection didn't preclude her because of the presence of her friends and true love. Her life was all laid out for her until the first miserable snow in December wiped out the only ray of hope in her soul. Lost and guilty, she finds herself changing into the worst possible version of herself as anger and wrath became her only salvation. When Lukien Keane Miller-Smythe came, it became the most destructive tug-of-war in their lives as they both lose themselves in the process of winning the other. The right decision was to let go but there was something challenging when it came to Sophia Thatcher's wild games of chase. To make matters worse, Sophia's scars are too deep to be healed as they keep on multiplying, just like how the snow becomes thicker and heavier with each whistle of the wind. A painful gripping tale of a woman who buried her identity as she succumbed to her selfish needs in an attempt of covering up her wounds, "The Snow In December" tells us how growth and healing have their own pace; that the deepest scars in our hearts which are considered impossible to heal can still scream for someone... and how the happiest endings can never eliminate the possibility of ending up alone.

"You shouldn't be sorry for any of those things because you're not a monster. You're not worthless. You're so much more." "If you say you're sorry, you're apologizing for yourself being brought into this world. I would get down on my knees and say thank you. Thank you for bringing Amber into my life. I love you, and that's something I will never apologize for."
