Joshua was a loner. Didn't care much for others especially since his mother died when he was 9-years old, forcing him to live with his uncle, Bennett Everett. It didn't take long until Bennett was killed by police whilst resisting arrest, forcing the now 14-year old Joshua to go to an orphanage. Roughing through the experiences he meets a girl named Victoria Shepard; a 13-year old girl who's parents abandoned her at birth. Victoria, seeing the back-story behind Joshua immediately creates a platonic relationship with the boy after noticing his attraction to her.
