Dream and Karl were assigned partners as well as childhood friends since grade school. One day, they were assigned a case that involved chasing down the perpetrators, which led to an accident that ended up hospitalizing the two.
After being discharged, Dream notices Karl's behavior changing in an odd way, and his co-workers gave him a sympathetic look everywhere the went. Did it have a connection to Karl's strange behavior? What were they not telling him?
