Leahmar has never had it easy, from as early as she could remember she was fending for herself, alone. Her mother and father both gone. She's never had a place to call home or a person to call family, she was an outcast who hated any form of affection or cheerfulness. She would break away from any connection she felt with someone, too scared to get close, too scared to be abandoned again. That changed when she met Rahmiera, a girl with the completely opposite life style as her. She has the perfect family, two loving and supportive parents who have helped her grow into an outstanding and overly generous person. She's always had friends and people she could rely on. With her new found family in Rahmiera, she fought to be a better version of herself. They both signed up to the academy together, in hopes they could make it on the team to the human world. Leahmar has always wanted to be in the human world, always felt like she would belong better, even with her wings. Rahmiera went to the academy in hopes to fight for the cause. She wanted to help stop the poaching of her people. What happens when Rahmiera makes it on the first year and Leahmar fails, 3 years in a row, having to stay behind until the next year's class? Will Leahmar pass this year's class and join Rahmiera in the human world? Or will she fail and fall apart again? Leahmar isn't going to let anything stop her from passing this year's class. Not even the strange dreams she's started having that send shivers down to her core and make her freeze in fear. She is determined to pass this year. Will she be able to? Or will her previous failures, and these strange dreams, hold her back? ~~~ Hi guys! Just wanted to say thank you for giving my story a shot, I hope you enjoy! Growing up in their sister's shadow wasn't easy; surviving after she left has been harder. In the nine years since their Kingdom was destroyed by the cruel Falcondar family, Kiridan has had two objectives: to stay hidden from the Falcondars, and to figure out why their sister never came back for them. They discover that she started an underground organization to overthrow the Falcondars...and then died three years ago while on a mission in the mountains. Determined to make something of their sister's efforts - and to be recognized as more than the less-talented sibling - Kiridan decides to break into the organization known as the Infernal Uprising, taking their rightful place among its leadership. But as the attack on the Falcondars draws nearer, they'll have to learn that leadership is more than barking orders, and that trust is difficult to earn. When the chaos spirals further than anyone expected, and new powers come into play from every direction, a lot of people may have to reevaluate what they stand for...whether they're an Infernal Uprising soldier, a traitor, or a Falcondar Princess herself. Sure, through the eyes of those in power, the world has always been in conflict. But for the next generation waiting to take over, the conflict is just beginning. And for the rest of the unsuspecting universe, it hasn't even begun. Which came first, the catastrophe or the change? And what's the difference in the first place? ******* ONGOING.
