"Here in Crescent High, everybody has...levels." My cousin Ivy says to me

I looked at her in confusion

She sighed. "Do you see those four girls over there?" Ivy points

I nodded

"The one with glasses is Zara, the one next to Zara is Skylar. On Skylar's right is Callie and the one on the very left is Emmeline Van Helsing. They're like...the most popular girls in this school because of their looks and fame. They're all super nice and kind"

"So...everyone here has a rank?" I said, looking down at her

"Yes, and right now, there's only 3 popular boys but that's not enough." Ivy had a dreamy look on her face and continued. "The reason why that's not enough is because every year, the school hosts a ball and one girl is left out. You know what i mean?"

I smirked

I think...i know where i stand.
