Esté LaReau is a girl that confuses him from the start
Because she looks like money and prejudice but knows everything about everyone and isn't afraid to say it. She's a girl that Sirius can't ignore, because even though she's a Slytherin, and a pureblood, she still makes him twitch when she looks at him and bites her lip. She's a girl that Sirius fights with just so that he can stand close to her. A girl that's everything he hates and somehow all he wants, too. Neither understands their feelings for the other, only that they burn ferociously in their delicate, brittle hearts. But, as their childhood comes crashing down with the oncoming war, so too they crash into each other, and Esté is no longer just a thorn in his side, but a girl that will show him there is both light and dark inside us all.
Esté has a choice to make, one that will force her to war with herself, and leave Sirius Black's broken heart in her wake.
