A group of underground communists invades a public school, leaving a wake of death behind them. As the group, known as The Reds, holds hostages in a classroom, a young boy named Jack Royerson must find a way to escape to the outside in order to warn the police of The Reds' plans to remind the world why there was a red scare in the 1920's.
