A decade has passed since the magic community has opened up to human eyes. Even though the government says it had their best interest at heart with each new law enforced, their pleas for a just regime fell on deaf ears.
That's where Elizabeth Vetrov comes in. Having worked with one of the most prominent magic communities, she built up quite a reputation. Cases from simple burglary to murder pass through her office every week. Hard times called for desperate measures when she took a particularly gruesome case of citizens being found dead in their homes. Will she be able to find the culprit before they strike again or will she become a victim herself?

The Licensed Mage

Not only is she a mage whom he silently despises but she's also the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on. As they work together and find a rocky truce between themselves they travel the city solving crimes with a magical association. Raven accepts Claire without cause while Claire lays her life down for the man who stole her heart. As they fall for one another a dark figure lerks in the shadows, plotting something sinister for our mage Claire. Could this dark figure perhaps have something to do with Claire's unclear past? Can Raven, a Black, somehow save this woman before she's taken from him forever?Complete

He never mentioned to Hera that he's going home after two decades. Only his youngest child knows of his trip back home. Whether he believes in curse or not. It's his 45th birthday tomorrow and he must be home to keep his promise to his mother. His family had never forsaken him, he did. He'd been ignoring their summons since he turned his back from them. Perhaps it's time to grant their plea. He closes his office and walks to the elevator. "Good evening, Artemis." The man in a black jacket greets him. Artemis smiles at the stranger. "Do I know you?" The stranger puts his arm around the stunned lawyer. Behind the unknown man's dark glasses are bloodshot eyes ready to scare the wits out of his prey. "Your mother does. She's expecting me to greet you happy birthday." Removing his dark glasses, he stares at his victim to corrupt his eyes. Insurmountable fear assaults Artemis as excruciating pain drills on his eyeballs. A horrible scream slits through the silence of the night when the clock strikes twelve. As the elevator opens, the stranger loosens his grip and the victim falls on the floor. Covering his bleeding eyes, Artemis winces from severe pain. The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true. He must get into his car before his sight totally leaves him. He must warn his family. " I must save Athena!"Complete

Vampires were pretty common in southern British Columbia and being not-quite-human herself she was bound to run into them. Now she must race against time to locate her ex-girlfriend back in her old home in hopes of saving her new one. On top of that she must do it with a handsome vampire she barely knows! Living a drama-free and super-natural-free life seemed to be out of the question when the head of the local vampire clan shows up demanding she recover a special artefact for him or the entire town would face his wrath. Her journey will be filled with memories, ass-kicking and a range of supernatural obstacles in her way.Complete
In For a Penny, Out of the Pound
Being Head Witch of an entire city is less leader-ing than the job title would have one think; it's more a fine blend of disciplinary work, keeping the entire 'magic thing' under wraps, vetting new witches and directing them to the guidance they need, and keeping track of magic layering tomes. And goddamn it all, her partner just managed to disappear at the wrong time; right after finding and apprehending a particularly violent newfound witch flexing his newfound magic, and right before it was time to take care of the tome that caused it all. (Features mild-to-severe swearing, some mild descriptions of mostly magical violence, graphic descriptions of black magic in the most literal sense, five cats, a naughty dog, witches with stupidly specific magics, a bookmobile, at least two established romantic relationships, at least two non-binary characters, and a literal punchy witch.)Complete
