This first poem 'Diet Cola' is loosely based on the Lana Del Rey song, 'Cola'. I wrote it from the pov of a stalker. The object of his 'affections' is drinking Diet Cola and he begins to imagine what she tastes like. Don't judge me.

A girl who has been called chubby her whole life. By everyone. She wants to be a model; thinking it might make her pretty and people would stop calling her names and laughing at her for thinking she had a career in modeling. So she applies to a modeling school. The best in town. Her dream is to be a model. Yet, she is brutally rejected when she applies which completely shatters her heart. Her parents never supported her. So after she's rejected, instead of consoling her; they criticize her even more. She never really had friends to begin with; and now that the news of being rejected from the modeling school spread, no one would even look at her in a friendly way. She was mocked. She was bullied. The words kept changing. From chubby to fat. From stupid to worthless With the excessive amount of bullying, she fell into depression. Hard. She stopped eating. Curvaceous Not Fat
Not many take pride in their weight, but I do. I'm a size sixteen, 44DD, and an ass most wish they had. I'm beautiful with long, dark hair flowing down my back. My tits doesn't sag, my ass doesn't sag and I have clear skin. What would I have to feel bad about? Don't get me wrong at one point I did feel bad. Wouldn't you if you were constantly called fat? Thanks to six of the best friends you could ask for I know what to say when people call me fat. "Hey Allison, you fat ass." Says Cynthia as she walks past me laughing with her clones right alongside if her. I turn and glare at her. "Hey Cynthia, I'm curvaceous not fat. Get it right." The silence is golden. What can you do when it seems like everyone hates you? How do you take being redicule? You turn the negatives into positives. So what you can't wear the sizes 0-5. Let them have it. Embrace the skin you in. Baby you're curvaceous, not fat. Never forget that. Most of the time people can change, but not everyone. Some will always think they're better then rest. No matter how big or how small someone is, words can be hurtful. No one can change overnight. One day you might be the bully and the next you are the victim. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. ***this book contains suicidal thoughts and tendencies, may not be appropriate for younger audiences*** In which she looks for the purpose of life. Lily Carter's parents died in a car crash leaving her and Laura, girl was depressed long before her parents passed away and with all the problems turning up now, Lily felt more miserable - if that's even possible. With her journey to look for life's purpose and grab the small pinch of HOPE - which is ironically her second name -, will she finally snap at the pressure and finally end it all? or will a small light lit her darkened world of grief and loneliness? * "So you know. The little goth girl who gets bullied is indeed a mess. There's this mess in her head that eats her alive everyday isn't it? What to do now Kaden? Tell the whole neighborhood and recieve an award for taking out a crazy in this world?" I spit like vomit. His eyes warmed up as I finished, "Lily. It isn't like that" "What is it then? People stopped caring... they gave up, why aren't you?" I fought my tears. "Because I feel the need to care. Did Leigh hurt you? Did she hit you?" he finally noticed the unusual redness of my cheek. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that.
