Instead of Izuku going to U.A, he decided to work with his father out of state. He would visit his mother during the summer and on holidays.
This particular summer, Inko Midoriya wasn't able to be with her son because of family issues. So, instead of Izuku being with his mother for the summer, he had to hang out with his old childhood friend.
Izuku didn't know what to expect, he didn't expect to meet new people. He really wanted to go back home.
