Jameson wasn't sure what compelled him to observe the stranger skipping stones alone at the lake, nor what drove him to approach him.

After all, Jameson was a man of routine, finding his mundane schedule therapeutic for his quest to remain on the straight and narrow of sobriety. Even the slightest wrench in his way threw him off balance.

But who knew that one detour in time, a man by the name of Liam, was all he needed for his road to healing.

One of them is the fact that I learned more about family at rehab than I ever did when I was home." - Lincoln "I always had this plan. A plan where I would graduate high school with the highest GPA, get a full-ride baseball scholarship to Stanford University, and then work my way to the major league baseball teams. It was a plan I had made with Lincoln when we were younger. A dream we shared to play baseball together. A dream that died when he overdosed." - Liam

Stiles. The human of the group. Sometimes a target. Okay, a target a lot of the time. And in this story, this is no different. What starts off as something Stiles thought was mildly bugging him turned out to be something much different. How does he handle Scott suddenly turning on him? How does he handle being forced out of the pack? And how does he feel when he unlocks something he had subconsciously been keeping sheltered for the majority of his life? And how does he handle when romance plays it's cards right into his hands?
