This is Leila's life:

Waking up every morning, eating breakfast and then getting on the METRO to school. Then after, going home and doing a few chores in return for some dollars. Your typical 'normal girl' routine. Then the unpredictable happens: her best friend, Ella, goes missing...as if she had disappeared off the face of the Earth. She leaves without trace. No note, no text, no nothing. But did Ella really go missing? Or did she cut off contact with everybody to get her boyfriend's attention? Read on to find out.....

The main character fell for a popular boy in their high school. For multiple months, the main character has been hiding themselves from this boy, Tal, because they've been scared of what Tal may think of them. After a while of waiting and hiding, Tal finally notices the main character and automatically falls in love with them; they had love at first sight. Slowly this major change affected the main character, their everyday life, and experiences they haven't had before. Their friends leave them and the main character is left with Tal and a few of his friends. The main character doesn't notice all of the changes they have had, and is left alone after something big happens to Tal.

Now she's staying with her best friend Clare, who promised to help figure out what happened, and why she hasn't aged in seventeen years, or where she's been all that time. with trying to keep the secrete of who she is, and navigating the random clues, Kaison begins to discover just who she really is.
