A magnificent ship known as The Matz dominates the waters of a fantastical sea. Eight makes the crew, a crew notoriously too small for their level of power. The key to their operation has always been a mystery. Some speculate it's the work of a demon, others say it's an elaborate ruse. Either way, they've become well known among bounty hunters, royalty, and other pirates.

Everything seemed to go wrong at once, but a particularly bad storm is what finally pulled the crew apart. Everyone is alive thanks to Hongjoong, but their only hope of being reunited lies in their individual ability to make it to the rendezvous point on the mainland. Tragedy and adventure along with old and new relationships might just be enough to ensure the safety of the crew.

Inspired by the song "He's a Pirate," composed by Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer, as well as every form of media containing pirates I have ever consumed. Including but not limited to Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney's Peter Pan, The Princess Bride, On Stranger Tides, ATEEZ's Wonderland stage on Kingdom, and a few popular manga/anime series.

The reader takes on a new role in each story.

"As soon as I laid my eyes on you, I knew you were different." A pirates life is so much different to Seongwha's palace. Instead of drowning themselves in wine and posh liquor, they fill themselves with rum. Only rum. Never served by guards or maids, or poured with posh talks, no. It comes straight from the bottle itself. Warm and salty, it burns your tongue. The lace that coats it is addictive. Sometimes, Seongwha thinks it's not just the rum that makes a pirates life so addictive. It's a pirate.
