Indigo Marlowe, a senior. Living with her mother after her parent's divorce,she had to work after school to make ends meet and pay school fees. Waitress by day and a DJ by night.

Music is her constant, the one that has gotten her through the tough times.

The yelling makes me open my eyes and stop singing. Everyone in the class is staring at me and Mr. Smith's face is red and looks like the steam would come out of his ears any moment now. I gulped.

I instantly realize why everyone is staring at me. I had been singing in the class. Again.

I'm officially dead this time.

Rowan Lennox, son of the mayor. Music is his life. He is the golden boy of the school, the star of the school. The senior year is the last chance, his last shot at his dreams. But like always there's a problem.

"Mr. Lennox, I'm sorry to inform you but the condition of your-", I cut him off mid sentence. I already know what's coming next. All of them have the same thing to say. I can hear my parents calling name as I go out.

Storming out of the clinic I slid into the backseat of the car. I look out at the moving trees, the rustling of leaves due to wind.

Sinking back into the seat I throw my hand oven my head. The guy I just met was the specialist, one of the best. If he can't find a solution then I don't know who can.
