Foreword The year was 2203, an age of transformation. In eons past, science and technology had been underdeveloped and dangerous: a highly skilled craft in denial by the willfully ignorant. The idea of mysticism and magic had also been the bane of the skeptical and the superstitious. Humanity sharing a world with mighty ice-breathing dragons, dumb giants, foul trolls, cruel goblins, and other nebulous, nightmarish creatures that only the imagination could conjure, forced them to believe and accept their fate as nothing more than monstrous fodder. But the primitives evolved and the population grew. Civilizations were built, societies and governments were formed, education and religion became valued commodities, and appropriate laws were enacted. Remains of Humanity
After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Concluida

Its not great but marks a special place as the first thing I ever wrote that was available to the public to read. An important milestone in anyone's life. Try not to judge too harshly haha. After a catastrophic accident all of existence had collapsed into a single world, massively accelerating the evolution of mankind as people begin to awaken abilities and powers. Some assume the mantle of superhero's and saviors, while others use their newfound strength to accomplish more dastardly goals and ambitions. Humans slowly begin to realize that the earth they once knew is no more. As monsters, demons, angels, gods and beings of fairy tales begin to reveal themselves en masse. Even those that had perished long ago had somehow been brought back to life in this catastrophe with nothing separating the land of the living from that of the dead. Faced with new dangers and new allies humanity finds itself at the brink of extinction while the ones that caused this catastrophe try desperately to restore the world to what it once was. The laws of the jungle and the laws of the universe are king in this new world where death waits around the corner hungry and lurking for his next victim. Can Ethan restore the world he once knew as his home or will he be forced to adapt to this new world and make a new home for himself and his loved ones.

I wrote this for EVERYONE. To appeal to anyone that reads ANY genre. It combines almost all of them. It's an introduction to the Worlds of Within universe. When you get to the action parts (which doesn't take long) you should be invested enough to want to unravel the mysteries and enjoy its intrigue... The flood is raging. A terrifying, heartless mountain of water, swallowing the world . The tunnel networks? Of course, that won't save them. The forests? Like leaves in a breeze. The lookout towers and trade hubs? Gone. Washed clean. Every home, every last trace of what once was. Gamleon is the first to see it ... and survive. His mind is near collapse, his heart broken. He runs. What would YOU do? His hometown, Icebrooke, an extremely prosperous land, gets put into jeopardy as an old rival city called Rimewick attempts to rise to power again. The struggle to remain afloat ends up placing Orick in a life or death situation with the thousands of lives in the balance.Concluida
